Junior Stars
This was a children's summer stock/day camp put on by by the Pittsburg Community Theater. The production I helped with was called "Space Pirates." My job was to watch the kids, get them from room to room, help them with activities, make sure the kids behaved backstage, and ensure general safety and wellness. I learned a lot about patience and how to work with people I normally wouldn't work with.Â
Waco Schoolhouse Haunt
I worked at the Waco Schoolhouse Haunt in the Fall of 2023. I didn't do my own makeup, however I have wanted to try this type of acting and it was a very educational and fun experience. I learned the importance of breath support in regards to vocal preservation while screaming for extended periods. I also feel that I can utilize what I observed to start doing this type of makeup in the future.
